How a repair runs

1. Drop off or ship it

   Walk into the Sandy Springs shop during business hours, or mail your aircraft in from anywhere in Georgia. Tell us what happened. Even "I don't know, it just fell" is a useful starting point.

2. Diagnosis

   Full systems check: motor test, ESC calibration, sensor and firmware review, and a physical damage assessment. You get a written quote and a plain-English explanation of what failed and why. The diagnostic fee runs $10 to $50 depending on the size and complexity of the aircraft, and it's applied to your repair if you go ahead.

3. You decide

   No repair work starts without your approval, and you're never charged for a repair you didn't authorize. If the repair costs more than the drone is worth, we'll say so instead of quoting it.

4. Repair, calibrate, test

   We fix it, recalibrate the sensors, update firmware where appropriate, and test fly before it goes back to you. It leaves ready to fly, not ready to troubleshoot.

How much does drone repair cost in Atlanta?

It depends entirely on what broke. A prop and arm replacement is a small job; a gimbal or flight controller failure is a bigger one. Diagnosis runs $10 to $50 depending on the size and complexity of the aircraft, and it's applied to your repair if you go ahead. The quote is written, so you'll know the number before committing to anything.

Can a crashed drone actually be repaired?

Usually, yes. Crash damage tends to concentrate in the arms, gimbal mount and landing gear, all of which are replaceable. Even aircraft that look badly broken are often economical to fix. The main exception is severe water damage that's already been powered on.

My drone went in the water. What should I do right now?

Do not power it on and do not try to charge it. Remove the battery if you can do it safely, and bring the aircraft in as soon as possible. Corrosion is what kills waterlogged drones, and it starts immediately. The sooner it reaches the bench, the better the odds.

Do you repair DJI drones?

Yes. We handle Mavic, Mini, Air, Phantom, Inspire and Avata platforms, including gimbal, camera, motor, ESC, battery and firmware work. We are an independent shop, not a DJI warranty center, so if your aircraft is still under warranty it's worth checking that route first.

Do you work on FPV and custom builds?

That's a large share of what we do. Betaflight flashing and PID tuning, ESC and stack repair, soldering and rewiring, plus builds specified from scratch around a payload, range or endurance requirement.

How long does a repair take?

Simple repairs often turn around in a few days. Anything waiting on a specific part depends on availability, and we'll give you a timeline with the quote rather than after.

Can I mail my drone in?

Yes. We accept mail-in repairs from across Georgia and the surrounding states. Call first so we can walk you through packing it. How a drone is boxed makes a real difference to whether it arrives in the same condition it left.
